Corine “Connie” Bridgford

 Corine (Connie) Martha Bridgford was born on December 31, 1931 in Hillsview, South Dakota, and passed away peacefully at home on May 1st, 2018. She worked in the food service industry in Rapid City, South Dakota where she met her husband Jack. They were married in Hillsview on April 24, 1954. Connie and their two children accompanied Jack, a member of the United States Air Force, to tours of duty in England, California, North Dakota, Germany, Illinois, and Turkey.
They settled in Lodi, Ca in July 1977. She was a member of TOPS and an active member in the St. Anne’s Church community. She found her greatest joy in taking care of her granddaughters when they were young and attending all of their activities. They were the light of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents Melchior and Elizabeth Malsam, brothers, Alex, Leo, Clarence and Albert Malsam, and sister Clara Schoch.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years Jack, daughter Kimberley Rudow (Jerry), son Patrick Bridgford (Zaida), granddaughters Kylie Rudow, Katy Rudow and Cassie Ramsey (Brandon), great-grandson Ian Ramsey, great-granddaughter Ivy Corine Trew, brother Frederick Malsam and sister Emelia Zoller.
She was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed by them.
There will be a Rosary at 9:15 a.m., on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 at St. Anne’s Church with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m.
